Partner Center is the front door to every Microsoft incentive, designation and co-sell lever you have as a partner. This page pulls together everything we've built to help you get more out of it, from the FY27 MCI programs to marketplace funding and the Health Check that ties it all together.
Microsoft Partner Center is the portal that sits between your business and Microsoft. It's where you enrol in the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program, track your Solutions Partner designation scores, submit co-sell opportunities, claim incentives, list on the Microsoft Marketplace and, if you're a CSP, manage every customer tenant you touch. Almost every commercial lever Microsoft gives partners is administered there.
The problem isn't access, most partners have that. The problem is that Partner Center is a huge surface area, the programs change every fiscal year, and no single role in the business owns it end-to-end. So co-op sits unclaimed, designations stall a few points short, marketplace listings go un-optimised, and MCI programs launch that nobody in the business knows they're eligible for.
The pages below are the tools and guides we use with partners every week to turn Partner Center from an admin portal into a source of pipeline, funding and Microsoft attention. Start with the Partner Center Health Check if you want the whole picture, or jump straight to the MCI Funding Tool or Marketplace Funding Tool if you know what you're looking for.

Sort out your Partner IDEvery commercial motion with Microsoft eventually routes back through Partner Center. Knowing which levers exist, and which ones you're eligible for right now, is usually the difference between a partner who ships Microsoft-sourced pipeline every quarter and one who doesn't.
Microsoft Partner Center is the portal every Microsoft partner uses to manage their relationship with Microsoft. It's where you enrol in the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program, track your Solutions Partner designation progress, submit co-sell opportunities, claim incentives like MCI and co-op, list on the Microsoft Marketplace and manage customer relationships as a CSP.
It shouldn't sit with one person. Sales use it for co-sell and opportunity submission, marketing use it for marketplace listings and co-op claims, finance use it for incentive payouts, and alliances or partner leads use it for designations and program compliance. If only one person logs in, you're almost certainly missing value.
Solutions Partner designations replaced the old Gold and Silver competencies. There are six designations across Data & AI, Infrastructure, Digital & App Innovation, Business Applications, Modern Work and Security. You earn them by hitting a Partner Capability Score of 70+, which combines performance, skilling and customer success metrics tracked automatically inside Partner Center.
MCI stands for Microsoft Commerce Incentives. It's the umbrella program that pays partners for driving customer acquisition, deployment and usage across Microsoft's cloud. Eligibility, earnings and payouts are all managed through Partner Center. Our MCI Funding Tool shows you the specific programs you can access based on the designations and specialisations you hold.
Co-op funds are earned automatically based on your Microsoft revenue and can be claimed against pre-approved marketing and enablement activities. MDF (Market Development Funds) is discretionary funding allocated against a specific proposal, usually tied to a Microsoft priority. Both are managed through Partner Center and both have strict claim windows, which is where a lot of partners leave money behind.
Marketplace listings are created and managed inside Partner Center under the Marketplace offers section. You'll need transactable pricing, a listing page, technical assets and, for co-sell ready status, a solid customer reference and IP co-sell approval. Getting listed is only step one, the value comes from optimising the listing so Microsoft sellers can actually find and pitch you.
Three reasons. It's a big surface area and no one owns it end-to-end. The incentive programs change every fiscal year and it's easy to miss what's new. And a lot of the value is buried behind data views that only make sense if you know what you're looking for. That's exactly what the Health Check Report is designed to fix.
Book a zero-obligation call with the Noteworthy team. We'll log in with you, spot the incentives, designations and marketplace opportunities you're not using, and give you a prioritised list of what to do next.
