What is Marketplace Mastery?

Marketplace Mastery is a concierge desk service that supports ISVs in getting transactions on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. With multi-party private offers now possible through the marketplace, the opportunity for ISVs to work with channel partners is lucrative - if you know how.

For a fixed monthly fee, we help ISVs of all shapes and sizes transact, driving cloud marketplace revenues and accessing the funding and incentives available to them through one or more of Microsoft's ISV-focused programs.

For Partners that have either completed the Accelerate Program or have a transactable Offer already in the Marketplace.

  • Get your Offers Co-Sell Ready and Azure IP Co-sell eligible
  • An MPO Assessment to evaluate compatibility within the Channel Partner ecosystem, along with a roadmap for forming a successful partnership.
  • MPO Collateral
    • Professionally designed One-Pagers that talk about your product or listing in a way that makes you irresistible to your prospective customers
    • A desktop one-pager for a Channel Partner that articulates how your solution fits into the customer landscape and how best to identify opportunities to sell your product
    • Consultancy that guides you in the creation of your unique landing page, which you can signpost from all of your Sales and Marketing material.
Training

What is MPO?

MPO, also called a Multi-Party Private Offer, is a collaborative sales approach in which multiple partners, such as Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and channel partners, create a customised offer for a customer. This type of offer allows partners to combine their solutions and services, negotiate personalised terms, and sell directly to customers through a cloud marketplace, in this instance, the Azure marketplace.

What is a cloud marketplace?

cloud marketplace is an online platform where customers can discover, purchase, and manage cloud-based software and services.

What is a MACC?

MACC stands for Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment, a contractual agreement in which an organisation commits to spending a certain amount on Azure services over a specified period. This commitment can help organisations manage their cloud spending more effectively and often comes with benefits such as discounts or credits.

What counts towards a MACC commitment?

Eligible purchases for a Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC) include:

  • Offers marked as "Azure benefit-enabled" in the Azure marketplace and Microsoft AppSource
  • Transactable offers with a value greater than $0
  • Software and IP costs
  • Azure services billed through an Azure marketplace deployment
