Yesterday we held our very first Noteworthy Live event, bringing together partners from across the UK for an afternoon of updates and exceptional guest talks.
Held at Microsoft UK’s Paddington office, the event brought together over 50 partners, the Noteworthy team, and key leaders from Microsoft’s partner teams to share insights and discuss the partner landscape.
Throughout the day, we heard from several excellent speakers covering topics such as how technology saves lives, the art of Copilot, and the AI opportunity for partner growth.
Couldn’t make it? Here’s what you missed…
Dr Rose Westhorpe of the British Heart Foundation updated us on the life-changing work that the charity is doing - using AI and emerging technologies – to improve early diagnosis rates and save lives.
We were especially pleased to facilitate this session as part of our long-term partnership with BHF, raising vital funds in the name of our friend and colleague, Rich Shipton.
You can learn more about the work we're doing with the British Foundation, in Rich's memory, here.
Stuart Ridout, EMEA AI Technical Strategy at Microsoft, delivered a short masterclass on Copilot, focusing on the art of the prompt and how he’s using Copilot perfectly to guide his day, remove distractions and provide focus to his day.
Here’s an example of one of Stuart’s absolutely epic prompts:
“Dear Copilot, I’d love your help on wrapping up my day and preparing for tomorrow. Please name the first section:
Can you please write a short paragraph of my work today and separately list tasks that came from my meetings? Also highlight my important things from my email based on your analysis.
Can you please help me with an overview of my meetings tomorrow. Create a table and list who organised the meeting and add details of the meeting. Please also show the category you would place that meeting (personal, internal, external or traveling) in and add any important things I need to know about the meeting. Please show me what % of time I am spending on the different categories in a list. In the last section named:
Finally, as my personal assistant, please write a small summary and brief me on all the important things I need to know to make tomorrow a productive day and please suggest when I should consider taking breaks.”
If ever there was a Copilot Chef’s kiss moment, this might be it!
Noteworthy’s very own Annie Clemo and Chris Johnston-Leigh led an interactive session exploring the areas that matter most to UK partners and how they’d like to be kept up to date.
We know from experience that partners are inundated with generic updates from Microsoft, and it can be hard to keep up, so this session is helping inform how we provide updates to partners and the preferred formats for doing so!
Nick Hedderman, UK&I Channel Lead at Microsoft UK, led our keynote session, which highlighted some of Microsoft’s recently released Work Trends Index Report, which talks about Frontier Firms; next-generation companies that fuses human judgment with AI agents to scale faster, work smarter, and unlock new value, and how Microsoft – and its partner community – is at the forefront of this journey into a world where AI is entirely embedded in what we do and how we work.
Nick was kind enough to answer a selection of questions from the audience, from areas where partners feel more support could be offered, to the future of the partner program.
Rounding off an excellent afternoon was our fireside chat, expertly chaired by Darren Sharpe, Marketplace Channel Lead at Microsoft UK.
The session, featuring Eleri Gibbon, SMC Lead (UK&I) at Microsoft UK, Jo Feldman, Chief Commercial Officer at Ingentive and Sian Herrington, CEO at Noteworthy, covered a range of topics from ways to stand out as a Frontier partner to diversity within the channel.
We rounded off an incredibly informative afternoon with some pizza and drinks at Heist in Paddington, offering partners an additional opportunity to meet with their peers and expand their networks.
It’s safe to say that the event was a resounding success, and the feedback from partners has been incredible! Fancy joining us next time? Be sure to follow us on LinkedIn for more information.
